A new delivery option when ordering digital files only is now available in webshop.
If the customers order digital files only they will find E-mail delivery as the only delivery option available. This means the customers will not have to pay postage, the email delivery cost is set to zero.
Only payment options enabled for digital delivery will be available in the checkout.
Once the order is completed the order confirmation page will give the customers information about the digital purchase, and an email containing a link to the digital download will be sent instantly.
If a customer orders digital files together with printed products the order will be treated according to the products not delivered by email. This means e-mail delivery will not be available, and payment options for the selected delivery option will be presented to the customer. After the order is completed information about the digital purchase and download will be given as usual.
How to enable digital delivery
Visit https://YOURDOMAIN.xx/admin/portal/paymentoptions.php to customize the payment options for digital orders in webshop. As an example you can offer invoice as a payment option for all delivery types except for digital delivery, as you see in the example screenshot below.
Please note that some payment options require postal address, and are therefore not available for digital delivery. This includes Zip, Sage Pay, Instore and Klarna.
Simply select yes in the drop down list under digital on the payment options you want to enable for digital orders. Remember to click update before you exit the site.
If you are using Taxjar you can not activate digital delivery at the moment.
